Quantum computing has developed a lot. Soon the world of quantum computing will expand more and more. Below some of the latest quantum computers are explained. Google's Quantum Leap with Willow In December 2024, Google unveiled its 105-qubit superconducting quantum chip, aptly named Willow. This chip achieved a remarkable feat by completing a Random Circuit Sampling (RCS) benchmark task in under five minutes—a computation that would take today's fastest supercomputers approximately 10 septillion years. Even more impressive, Willow demonstrated exponential error reduction as it scaled, marking a significant breakthrough in quantum error correction.  IBM's Quantum Heron Processor Not to be outdone, IBM introduced its 156-qubit tunable-coupler quantum processor, Quantum Heron, in December 2023. This processor offers up to five times faster performance than its predecessor, IBM Eagle, and is available through IBM's global quantum data centers. Heron is designed ...
